Wanted: Directors
The Black Box Black Blocks committee is seeking directors for 2011’s summer short works festival, which will open in late June. All directors must be in town for the festival and must have either completed a directing course at the university level or have directed at least two plays. Directors will be expected to participate in a judging panel, during which each director will select a play to direct from the new plays submitted for production. Directors will also be expected to attend a group audition session for actors in May. Note: People who submit plays may also direct, but not for their own shows! They may also act, but neither in shows they have written or are directing.
